The Adaptive Compliant Trailing Edge (ACTE) Program
In partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and NASA, FlexSys retrofitted morphing, gapless trailing edges onto a Gulfstream III to study performance impacts.
As part of this program, NASA completed 75 test flights, demonstrating drag and noise reduction with the addition of FlexSys’ core technology, FlexFoil™.
